Brax Matrix ML80 PRO

Handcrafted 3.15” High-End Midrange Speakers

Brax speakers are reference-grade components for installations where no compromise is acceptable.

Designed and manufactured in Germany by the engineers behind Helix, these represent the absolute pinnacle of automotive speaker engineering. This isn’t a casual upgrade from factory speakers – Brax components demand professional installation, proper amplification, and complete system integration.

A new chapter in precision and natural sound

With the MATRIX ML80 PRO, BRAX elevates midrange reproduction to an entirely new level. As the completely re-engineered successor to the MATRIX ML3, it continues the same uncompromising philosophy – yet with an all-new concept, state-of-the-art materials, and meticulous attention to detail.
The result is a midrange speaker that reproduces music with absolute purity, dynamics, and emotional depth.

Features

  • Ultra-lightweight carbon fleece multilayer cone – combines superior stiffness-to-weight ratio with reduced resonance for precise, natural and highly dynamic sound reproduction
  • Integrated solid stainless-steel phase plug – ensures perfectly controlled dispersion and precise midrange reproduction
  • Newly developed high-damping rubber surround – crafted from premium butyl rubber for maximum cone control, reduced distortion and exceptionally sound reproduction
  • Aerodynamically shaped aluminum die-cast basket – allows ideal voice coil ventilation while minimizing airflow noise for consistently high performance even at demanding levels
  • High-strength Nomex spider – crafted from meta-aramid fabric to ensure exceptional shape stability and long-term reliability even under demanding conditions
  • Ultra-precise machined push-pull neodymium magnet system – ensures excellent magnetic linearity for minimal distortion, clean dynamics and maximum control at high output levels
  • Vented spider – enhances airflow between spider and magnet system for consistent performance even at high sound pressure levels
  • 24-carat gold-plated terminals – guarantee maximum conductivity and signal quality
  • Optional stainless-steel support ring with grille (MR3) – adds a refined aesthetic and provides a secure, elegant mounting solution
  • Made in Germany – developed and manufactured for uncompromising sound quality at reference level
